Set Nets for Trout and Sourdock Gathering

Summary:
Spring and summer fishing and gathering around Kaniligauraq Creek on the south end of the Kivalina Lagoon.
Cultural Narrative:

Elders used to pick the very first sourdock and cook them whole wihtout cutting. Austin Swan Sr. remembers they were real good that way.  You could pick them up from the pot and let them slide down your throat. Nowadays people always always chop them up. After cooking, they used to store them in seal poke.
